Started 48 years ago, our flagship Discover Lanai tour is sure to become your favorite day of vacation! Trilogy has exclusive permission to escort guests to Hulopo’e Marine Preserve (Lana’i), where you can swim, snorkel, play volleyball, hike, and participate in a guided cultural experience. Post activities, gather at the beautiful Hale o Manele, and enjoy a full plantation BBQ lunch, complete with our famous Kiawe-grilled chicken. On the return sail enjoy a cold drink, premium bar beverages, and ice cream sundaes to complete a truly memorable day.

Your tour starts with a continental breakfast of Mom Coon’s 4th generation cinnamon rolls and tropical fruit, served with Kona coffee, tea, hot cocoa or pineapple juice. On our 6:30am departure, we also provide oven-baked croissant breakfast sandwiches. On our 10am departure we provide assorted deli wraps prior to arrival on Lana’i island.

Lana’i is home to the gorgeous Hulopo’e Bay, a protected Marine Preserve voted #1 beach in America by Dr. Beach. The Bay offers our guests unparalleled (and uncrowded!) crystal clear views of sprawling coral reefs and a wide array of tropical fish and active marine life (sometimes even dolphins)! For even more adventure, grab your sandals and embark on a short scenic hike to the infamous Pu’u Pehe (Sweetheart) Rock or visit the large tide pools nearby, perfect for small keiki to test their swimming skills out. Need more cardio? Our crew love getting a game of beach volley ball going for those wanting in on a little soft competition. Need less cardio? Soak up the sun and take a snooze on the beach!

After a morning of fun, enjoy our Plantation Pulehu (off the grill) BBQ lunch* of Captain Coon’s Kiawe-wood grilled chicken, vegetarian stir fry soba-noodles, corn-on-the-cobb, Kula greens salad with Mom Coon’s dressing, and assorted soft rolls. Our return sail is capped off with a dish of locally made ice cream and two adult premium beverages for guests 21+ with ID (Beer, Wine, Cocktails), as well as soda, juice, and chilled filtered water.
